Half a day by boat along the south coast of Sardinia, departing from Quartu Sant'Elena, just minutes from Cagliari. Aboard our RIB — a rigid-hull dinghy — we sail east, among the coves of Mari Pintau, Torre delle Stelle, Solanas and Cala Pisanu (Cala Sirena), all the way to the waters of Villasimius. The sequence of stops and the length of each stay are adapted by the skipper to the wind and sea conditions of the day.
Stops for swimming and snorkelling in the most beautiful coves of the coastline, away from the crowded beaches. On board you'll find water, an aperitif, snacks and the equipment to explore the seabed.

What time do we leave and how long does the trip last?
Two departures a day: in the morning from 09:30 to 13:00 and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 17:30. Each trip lasts about three and a half hours, with several stops for swimming and snorkelling.
Which coves do you visit during the tour?
We sail along the south-east coast towards Villasimius, with stops at Mari Pintau, Torre delle Stelle, Solanas and Cala Pisanu. We snorkel over the rocky seabeds and at the submerged Christ of Genn'e Mari. The itinerary may vary depending on the weather and sea, always seeking the most sheltered and clearest waters.
What's included?
Skipper, fuel, water, an aperitif and snacks on board, plus mask and snorkel for snorkelling. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. We reach every cove by boat and swimming is always optional. There are life jackets on board, including children's sizes, for anyone who wants to feel more at ease.
Can I bring children?
Yes, the trip is family-friendly: we sail close to the coast with stops in the most sheltered coves, and we have life jackets in every size. For the youngest, we recommend the morning slot, usually with calmer seas.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Sunglasses and a light t-shirt are also useful. On board you go barefoot: no rigid shoes.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If the sea conditions don't allow the trip to go ahead safely, we refund 100% of the amount or, if you prefer, we move the date. We let you know by the morning of the tour, deciding based on the weather and the actual state of the sea.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, free cancellation up to 48 hours before the departure time: use the 'Request cancellation' button on the confirmation page (the link is in the email you receive). Less than 48 hours before, or in case of bad weather, write to us at info@mikimar.it or on WhatsApp. Beyond that threshold the payment is non-refundable, except in case of bad weather.
Can I bring food on board?
Of course, snacks and drinks are welcome. On board you'll also find water, an aperitif and snacks, already included in the price.
Where exactly do we meet?
At the harbour of Quartu Sant'Elena, just minutes from Cagliari. We'll send you the precise location on Google Maps in the confirmation email. Arrive 15 minutes before departure so we can set off on time.
How does the 'Whole boat' booking work?
For groups or anyone who wants the whole boat, we work with a tailored quote: you send us a request with the date, time slot and number of people (up to 8) and we reply with a dedicated price, skipper included. You can choose morning, afternoon or the whole day. Ideal for birthdays, stag and hen parties and private groups.
